COLLEGE PROGRAM ELIGIBILITY

Who can participate in the Road to Hire (R2H) College program?

Students who have participated in the R2H High School program can be considered for the R2H College program.

What are the program expectations and requirements?

Scholars are required to:

• GPA Requirement:

  • Scholars at a 4-year university must maintain a cumulative GPA above 2.5 each semester

  • Scholars at a 2-year university must maintain a cumulative GPA above 2.0 each semester

• Meet with their Student Career Coach once a week

• Attend at least two R2H College program events each semester

• Secure an internship during the summer of their sophomore or junior year in college

What if I want to transfer schools or change my major?

All changes are addressed on a case-by-case basis by the R2H College program team.

If I need to, can I take a leave of absence?

The R2H College program team understands that sometimes disruptions in life occur. For this reason, we can support a student who needs to take a leave of absence for up to one semester.

Can I receive a R2H College Program Scholarship if I receive other scholarships?

Absolutely! The R2H College program team ALWAYS encourages students to apply for other scholarships as well.

What happens after I complete the R2H College Program and graduate from college?

The R2H College program team guarantees to help students secure their first interview in their chosen career field.
